untitled (knitting)
2024 / 130.3×97×3cm / oil, acrylic on canvas

By deliberately removing the context of art history from the canvas, Masaki Okuten shuts off the possibility of his work being overinterpreted influenced by the art historical background, yet focuses on pictorial expression in order to encourage people to enjoy the work with a wider and universal sense.

金炯紀
Hyeongki Kim

しわシリーズ (Wrinkles series)
ポンチョ(Poncho)
2023 / h.200cm×w.150cm / oil-based dye ink、EVA plastic

After completing art university, he worked in a restaurant while creating his artwork. F&B business was his grandmother's family business. His works are mostly drawings on paper, but he also works on clothing. Clothing was his mother's business. The daily state of his life as a Korean resident of Japan oscillates between being sweet and hard to Japan, and countless lines appear in his works. The lines sometimes form characters, and break down again while floating on the screen.

眼底 (eyeground)

吉岡雅哉
Masaya Yoshioka

思春期 (Adolescence)
2023 / F30(910×727mm) / Oil on canvas

Over the years, Yoshioka has continued to draw images born from the influence of everyday scenes, events, and people.
The images and themes in his works, such as the Blue Period, Prisoner File, Moonlight Viewing, Adolescence, Tinkering in the Garden, West Coast, and Convenience Store, are repeated, forming a series like a long novel that never seems to be completed.
